Pastor Sung Jong Yoon was born on July 18th, in Daegu, South Korea. His parents, Bong Ki Yoon and In Ae Hwang raised him in the Christian family education. He spent his early childhood mostly in Daegu and received early education at the pubic school system. Later he attended Youngnam University and studied Electronic Engineering. But God has His own plan for Pastor Yoon's life. Pastor Yoon liked music a lot and began playing piano by ear at 11 years old. In 1986, while in the 9th grade, His father asked him to attend an English service at Camp Walker in Daegu, South Korea, where he first opened his eyes to see new people in a different world. It was there where he started to learn the new style of Christian Gospel music.

It was there where Pastor Yoon met Morris Sonny Collins, a Sunday school teacher for protestant service in Camp Walker Chapel youth department. Mr. Collins was not only a dedicated teacher who gave much love to this foreign Korean student, but he was also a very talented saxophone player who introduced Gospel music to the young pianist. After years of fellowship and musical training, they became a good team and began to visit various places to glorify God with their music and testimony.

When Mr. Collins ended his service in South Korea, Pastor Yoon decided to leave Camp Walker service and joined Dongbu Presbyterian Church in Daegu Korea and joined Dolsam Praise Ministry Band as a keyboardist. Later he became the director of the entire music ministry group. And there he met the beautiful Jung Im Kim. And after years of meeting, the two married on February 7th, 1998 and they grew together spiritually. Now they have one daughter, Hye Min Yoon

By the time he finished his service for Dolsam Praise Ministry, He decided to go back to Camp Walker Chapel. However, instead of going back to the protestant service, he chose to attend the Gospel service. God had given him the blessing of meeting Pastor Nelson Williams there. Pastor Yoon had started to serve as the main keyboardist for the service and praise team for the church choir for over 8 years. He was also honored by working with numerous choirs and famous guest Gospel artists by playing for them during conferences and revivals.

n 1999, he decided to join the Upper Room Remnant World Evangelization Organization to receive evangelism training and started to serve both Korean and American ministries. He graduated from General Assembly Theological Seminary in Dukpyung, Kyungi-do, South Korea in 2004. He also received ordination as an elder and served as an assistant pastor in Hana Church in Daegu, Korea until 2006.

According to the will of God, Pastor Yoon and his family decided to answer the call from Bishop Nelson Williams, and they joined Unity Christian Fellowship International in 2006. He received ordination as an elder into the Holy Deliverance Church of God. Pastor Yoon is now directing and advising the music ministry and is the pastor for the Korean ministry at UCFI. Pastor Yoon has been very active servant in the international field of ministry and is pursuing God's mission to crossover cultural and racial barriers to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.
